Sergey Brin Demos Google Glasses Prototype on “The Gavin Newsom Show”, Suggests Possible Release Next Year
Burrito Bison is a simple game for gummy bear lovers
As you may have guessed from the name, you're a bison (not a burrito, though). In the course of your day-to-day grocery shopping, you're abducted into a bag of gummy bears, and must now fend for yourself.
At the beginning of each round you launch yourself onto the marching gummy (gummi?) bears, while you're being watched by a huge crowd of even more gummy bears. Your goal is to keep bouncing on the bears and earn more and more money while you do it. Every time you hit a gummy bear, you lose some momentum. If you hit the floor, you basically lose all of it.
But don't give up just yet! You have an emergency thrust which you can use to gain some momentum and keep bouncing on those bears. This extra thrust gets refilled as you hit more bears.
There are also special gummy bears that give you extra thrust or extra money. The money comes in handy at the end of each round, when you can shop for cool stuff to make your bison even more effective against those gummy bears.
It's a fun and colorful game that kept my interest for quite some time, and almost sent me running to the closest store to get some gummy bears!

Google Cloud Print comes to HP ePrint printers
We're curious, though -- how many of you are still printing? Like our pals at Engadget, our printers have been mostly gathering dust for the last few years.

HTC Sensation XL Ice Cream Sandwich update rolling out
The HTC Sensation XL is the latest Android phone to be graced with an update to version 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. According to forum reports, the update is now pushing out over the air to devices in Europe and Asia, so if you're rocking the Beats-toting 4.7-incher, then head to Settings > About phone > Software updates and hit that button.
The new version brings the Sensation XL up to Android 4.0.3, while HTC Sense remains at version 3.6. So XL owners will get many of the benefits of ICS (the new app dock, multi-tasking menu and face unlock), only without the completely re-vamped UI found on Sense 4.0 devices. This is the same version we've seen before in ICS updates for phones like the Rezound and (OG) Sensation.
Bear in mind that the update weighs in at just under 200MB, so if you're on a fixed data allowance, you may want to wait until you're on Wifi before downloading the new software.

ChromeLite: experience the ASCII Web of yesteryear
Now, ChromeLite isn't really all that functional. For the most part, it simply strips images and converts text into a monospaced terminal font. There are a few Easter eggs inserted -- such as a fun message at the bottom of YouTube (image after the break) -- and some fun ASCII art, but that's about it. Rather oddly, most JavaScript continues to work -- so you can still enjoy Google Instant Search!
ChromeLite was actually made by Google as an April Fools' joke -- and indeed, an annoying 'you can uninstall this!' message appears at the top of every page -- but we're kind of hoping that Google, or another developer, takes ChromeLite and turns it into a real ASCII browsing extension with configurable settings. If anything, it will provide an easy way to save bandwidth and CPU time.

Classic Shell now makes Internet Explorer 9 look like IE8
We've covered Classic Shell before, but here's the crib note: Classic Shell restores almost every Windows XP-era Explorer feature. The best change, in our opinion, is the reemergence of the 'up' arrow, meaning you now navigate without using the Windows Vista/7 'breadcrumbs' address bar. The status bar yet again shows the total size of your selection, and -- praise be! -- the diabolical Windows 7 Copy File 'copy and replace?' dialog has been replaced with a Windows XP lookalike (image after the break).
New to the most recent version of Classic Shell is the ability to make IE9 look like IE8. With Classic Shell the title bar yet again has a caption, so you can see the full title of Web pages. The current security zone and loading progress indicator have been put back into the status bar, too. If you enable 'Show tabs on a separate row,' it's almost like using IE8.
Finally, Classic Shell replaces the omnipotent Windows 7 Start Menu with the age-old 'classic' Windows 2000/XP-style Start Menu. Classic Shell makes the Start Menu skinable, too, if you're into the kind of thing.
As awesome as it sounds, we've only touched on a small section of Classic Shell's feature set. Check the Classic Shell site for a complete list. There's a few more images of Classic Shell in action after the break.

TripAdvisor expands City Guides, releases apps for 30 new cities
Traveling to new areas can be both fun and exciting but it also has the potential to be rather frustrating at times. If you're not familiar with the area you are going to you may not know the best places to stay, the best places to eat and the attractions around that you will want to take in. For such cases, TripAdvisor has released quite a few city guides in the past to help those in need find all those things when traveling and now, they've gone ahead and added 30 new cities to the mix bringing the grand total of cities offered to 50. In addition to the new city offerings, they've added some new features to the apps as well:
- Transit – Users can now view metro or subway stations on a map. Unique to City Guides, the “Nearby Station” feature helps travelers find the closest station to their current location, or to a particular restaurant, hotel, or attraction.
- TripIdeas - TripIdeas are customized itinerary recommendations based on popular travel themes, such as traveling with family, foodie destinations, and places off the beaten path. Each itinerary includes beautiful large photos for inspiration. Users can keep track of their favorite TripIdeas in their “Saves” list.
- Offline Map Update – Users can now fully customize their own maps. This feature displays saved destinations, metro stations, and any restaurants, hotels, and attractions of interest, to help travelers plan and have their perfect trip.
If you're looking to be planning a trip in the near future or have one already in the works, maybe TripAdvisor can help make that trip better. The full list of added cities can be found past the break and if you're looking for the full list of all TripAdvisor City Guides available, just hit the source link below to be taken to the Google Play Store listings.
